The Bangladesh Online MRV Portal instructs applicants to complete and submit the online visa application, print the completed form and then take it with the required documents to the relevant visa office or Bangladesh mission.
Across categories, the core file usually starts with passport information, a recent photograph, the printed form and evidence that explains why the applicant is travelling. The supporting evidence then changes with the visa category.
Tourist requirements
The New Delhi tourist checklist published in 2024 includes the online application form, recent 45mm × 35mm white-background photographs, the original passport with minimum six months validity, old passport if any, profession-related evidence and NOC where applicable, invitation/host or hotel evidence, identity copies and financial evidence in the relevant scenario.
Business requirements
The New Delhi mission’s business visa guidance states that a businessperson travelling for trade, commerce or investment needs an invitation from a recognised business organisation or local sponsor in Bangladesh and another letter from the company sending the applicant.
