What makes a Bangladesh tourist visa file clear?
A tourist application should look like a tourist application from beginning to end. The stated purpose, proposed dates, accommodation or host arrangement, profession details and financial evidence should not point in different directions.
The Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi published a tourist checklist in 2024 that includes two copies of the completed online application, two recent 45mm × 35mm white-background photographs, the original passport with minimum six months validity, old passport if any, profession-related evidence and an NOC where applicable, and additional identity and travel-purpose documents.
Invitation or hotel booking
The same checklist provides two common tourist-document routes: an invitation from a Bangladeshi citizen with the invitee’s NID or passport copy, or a hotel booking in Bangladesh together with the specified financial evidence. If the visitor is staying in a Bangladeshi national’s residence, identity proof of the concerned person is also referenced.
